The housing administration department provides services for all aspects of living and housing. We offer advice starting at the beginning of the application process right down to the termination of your contract. Furthermore, we can answer all your questions about living in our residences. We have compiled some general tips on the subject of looking for a place to stay.

If accepted into a living residence, the rent consists of the cold rent (“basis rent”) and some additional living expenses. Within the additional costs we offer tenants the following services:

  • Provision of bed linen incl. cleaning
  • Cleaning of all communal areas
  • Cleaning of shared kitchens
  • Window cleaning
  • Electricity, water, heating, and waste disposal
  • Cleaning equipment and toilet paper
  • Maintenance of outside areas
  • Replacement of lights and fuses
  • Maintenance services
  • Winter services

If you have not yet been located a place to live by the beginning of the winter semester due to the long waiting list, emergency accommodation is available for this transitional period.
